Privacy policy

What we collect

Regional Growth Engine collects only the information participating chapters and their members give us directly:

• Account and profile data: name, company, role, email, phone.
• Sponsorship, membership, and event registration records entered by chapter staff or sponsors.
• Anonymous analytics: page views and interaction events tied to a session ID, not to a person.
• UTM parameters from inbound links, captured for attribution.

What we don't collect

• We don't buy, rent, or scrape personal data.
• We don't track you across other sites.
• We don't sell your information to third parties.

How we use it

• Sponsorship and membership data goes to the relevant chapter's leadership.
• Aggregate analytics inform what content chapters and sponsors find valuable.
• We email you only about the thing you reached out about, plus updates you opt in to.

Retention

Inquiry records are kept for 36 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Financial records related to sponsorships are kept 7 years (IRS). Anonymous analytics events are kept 24 months.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• Show you what we have on file about you.
• Correct any of it.
• Delete it (excluding records we're legally required to keep).

Email privacy@example.com with the subject line “Privacy request” — we respond within 30 days.

Cookies

The public site uses one first-party cookie holding an anonymous analytics session id. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we materially change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the “last updated” date above. Substantial changes will be announced to affected chapters and members.
